About the Event:

Part of field building is recognizing the potential, overlooked, and missing components to drive the work forward. At data.org, we noticed that many people working within data and AI for impact are serving a critical, but ill-defined role where they are responsible for creating an entire sustainable ecosystem for the digital tools, products, and public goods that exist in the social sector.

In our mission to build the field of data for impact, we want to better define this “Data Ecosystem Designer” role, including the skills required to perform it well, the career paths that await it, and lessons from people who have boldly held the title before. Please let us know if you can join us, in-person or online. We look forward to the conversation!
