- Lead the planning, execution, and launch of new products and features.
- Prioritize product features and milestones, creating detailed roadmaps and timelines.
- Coordinate with the engineering team to ensure technical feasibility and timely execution.
- Lead and inspire a cross-functional team, promoting a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Facilitate communication and decision-making between engineering, design, content, and marketing teams.
- Provide mentorship and support for team development and career growth.
- Conduct user research to understand the needs, behaviors, and pain points of the target audience.
- Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Incorporate user feedback and market insights into product development.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Communicate progress and challenges to stakeholders, including executive teams.
- Build and maintain relationships with partners and vendors.
- Ensure products meet high-quality standards and comply with relevant educational regulations and guidelines.
- Oversee testing and quality assurance processes to identify and resolve issues before launch.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for each product and track product performance against these metrics.
- Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and optimize products post-launch.
- Continuously iterate and improve products based on user feedback and performance analysis.
- Manage the budget for product development and monitor resource allocation.
- Ensure efficient use of resources and adjust plans as needed to meet organizational priorities.
- Act as a product evangelist both internally and externally, promoting the product’s value and benefits.
- Participate in conferences, workshops, and other events to represent Ahlan Simsim and its products.
- ·Bachelor’s degree in Education, Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in product management, preferably in the education technology sector.
- Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of software development and web technologies.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, collaborative tools and agile project management.
- Familiarity with current educational technology trends, teaching methodologies, and the needs of diverse learning populations including caregivers and young children ages 0-8
- Experience working in or with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in the education sector is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a cross-functional team.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including content developers, developers, and executive leadership.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about product development and enhancements.
- Experience in user research, market analysis, and utilizing data to inform product decisions.
- A strong understanding of user experience and design principles.
- Commitment to creating products that are accessible, engaging, and effective for diverse learners.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain a flexible approach in a dynamic environment.

- Proven experience in writing and editing: the ability to draft memos and reports.
