Play a critical role in maximizing the impact of  The V Foundation for Cancer Research by leveraging data insights to inform strategic decision-making and optimize fundraising results.


45% Data Collection, Organization, and Integration

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and integrate data from various sources in our Salesforce platform.
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency for meaningful analysis.
  • ·Create donor segments based on various criteria, such as giving history, demographics, and engagement levels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor campaigns and outreach efforts to specific donor segments.
  • Manages policy and procedural documentation regarding data governance, data security, records management, etc.

45% Data Analytics and Reporting

  • Work with internal departments to understand their data needs.
  • Provide accurate and timely data to support the execution of programmatic efforts.
  • Report on results and provide data insights with team leads.
  • Help departments understand ROI relative to communication channels/efforts and use information to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Adapt data sets as needed to meet market demands.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of fundraising performance metrics, donor behavior, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to the internal teams and leadership.
  • Design visually compelling and informative dashboards and reports to communicate data-driven insights effectively.
  • Leverages AI tools to enable more efficient and effective uses of internal information.

10% Miscellaneous

  • Provide ad-hoc data and analytics as needed by V Foundation leadership for the board, special initiatives, and annual business planning.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement by staying alert on industry trends and best practices in data analytics for non-profits.


  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g., statistics, data science, information/systems, business analytics, etc.).
  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience as a data analyst.
    Proficiency in Microsoft suite and data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
  • Experience with constituent databases, CRM systems, and data visualization tools.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or with a team.
  • Familiarity with Zoom, Teams, and other videoconference software platforms to conduct meetings.
