Support building an organization-wide Cloud Central Data Hub as an analytics platform.
Responsibilities
- You hold the reins: In the activities of the Marketing department, you keep an eye on the data flows and ensure a cross-system, holistic understanding of Welthungerhilfe private donor data.
- You are a visionary: In exchange with stakeholders, you conceptualize the future of data in the Marketing department, identify priorities, and set impulses for new future-oriented applications.
- You enable not only futuristic, but also reliable analyses/projects: You define the data quality standards and processes together with the domain experts and ensure compliance with them – e.g. through a data glossary and department training courses.
- You ensure the implementation of data protection requirements and guarantee that all data protection regulations are complied with.
- You support the department in the development of new measures, channels and donor journeys with your knowledge of data flow requirements to ensure smooth data integration.
- You guide colleagues from the Marketing department, set standards for the use of your products and solutions and, like everyone in the team, are a data ambassador for the organization.
- You drive exciting and challenging advanced analytics projects independently, taking an exploratory approach and leveraging potential.
- You are willing to pass on your experience to junior colleagues and domain expert.

- Thanks to your quick comprehension and strong analytical thinking skills, you are also open to new tasks.
- You enjoy working in a team and expressing your opinion.
- You have a master’s degree in business administration/economics with a focus on analytics, (business) computer science, data science, (business) mathematics, software engineering or similar.
- Experience with the Azure tool stack, MS PowerBI, and knowledge of SQL would make it easier for you to get started.
- Ideally, you are already familiar with common CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- You enjoy extracting insights from data that add value to the organization.
- You are fluent in English and can communicate in German, as Welthungerhilfe works in almost 40 countries in addition to Germany – French is not a must, but a plus.
