Responsible for developing, planning, implementing, strengthening, supervising, and managing activities, programs, and projects aimed at enhancing and expanding the mission of AnitaB.org

Responsibilities

  • Create the first-ever Institutional Impact strategy and business growth plan for AnitaB.org that will advance the mission of the organization and create a budget to support the new strategy.
  • Collaborating with the Chief Impact Officer and the VP, Individual Impact, identify program solutions that distill macro industry dynamics of DEIB (increasing pipeline of women, non-binary, and BLNP people into tech, increasing career mobility and representation of women and non-binary in senior leadership in tech) into dynamic individual solutions for corporations, NGOs, governmental, and academic partners.
  • Working alongside the Chief Product Officer and the Revenue/Sales team to identify opportunities for increased impact in institutions, shepherd ideas from theoretical to design, and finally to real world scalable solutions and programs.
  • Advise and guide the Director, Institutional Partnerships in the mapping of external institutions that will aid in advancing AnitaB.org mission inclusive of organizations in, but not limited to, academia, NGOs and other mission driven organizations, corporations, federal, state, and local governments (in collaboration with Policy & Advocacy).
  • Participate in the ongoing management of institutional relationships, especially those of a critical nature.
  • Take over ownership of existing Institutional Impact programs such as The Apprenticeship Pathway Programs (APP) and continue to innovate and nurture increased institutional sales.
  • Working with the Head of Advisory Services, nurture growth of the bespoke consulting practice to ensure it is growing in a sustainable and scalable nature and meeting the needs of AnitaB.org partners and sponsors.
  • Participate in the sales cycle for key institutional programs such as APP, as well as any new programs that are developed. This may include activities such as sales deck development, pitch presentation, pricing strategy, and opportunity identification (in collaboration with revenue and sales).
  • Serve as a key leader, and when necessary and appropriate, the chairperson for any coalition or council of external institutions created by AnitaB.org as part of its external partnership efforts.
  • Upwardly manage relationships with the CEO and CTO of AnitaB.org and build and maintain peer relationships with leaders across Impact, Revenue, Product, Tech, P&C, and Finance/Legal.
  • Assist in the recruitment of team leaders, and individual contributors to the Institutional Impact team, as growth opportunities permit.
  • Provide guidance to Impact Insights to create the appropriate measurement and reporting requirements to measure the value added by Institutional Impact.
  • Collaborate in Philanthropic development opportunities as appropriate at the direction of the Director of Philanthropy and the CEO.
  • Serve as an enthusiastic advocate and representative of AnitaB.org in the community and with corporate, NGO, academic, and other stakeholder communities.
    Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Skillset

  • Professionalism in team and external stakeholder interactions and communications, including honesty, integrity, respect, and commitment to advancing global, regional, and local DEI, in keeping with an organization with a mission to promote women and non-binary diversity, equity, and inclusion in society and the workplace.
  • At least 10 years of experience in institutional relationships, innovation, organizational and digital transformation, and/or DEIB organizational change leadership.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly with C-suite and other executive level individuals.
  • Exceptional sales, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Experience developing business plans, sales strategies, and managing business budgets.
  • Demonstrated experience interfacing with partners and developing relationships across teams.
  • Demonstrated record of innovative program ideation and execution with partners.
  • Self-motivated and have strong experience in corporate and mission-driven organizations.
  • Strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and with diverse constituencies in varying environments.
  • A high level of personal integrity and emotional intelligence.
  • A collaborative approach to continuous improvement of ideas and programs.
  • Ability to travel as position requires.
