What’s the weather like in Bogotá?

Bogotá has a mild mountain climate year-round with temperatures typically ranging from 45-65°F (7-18°C). June mornings are usually cool and sunny, while afternoons often bring rain showers. Temperature can vary significantly between day and night, so layering is essential. We recommend packing light layers such as t-shirts, long sleeves, and a sweater, along with a medium-weight jacket or raincoat—an umbrella is essential.

Important: High Altitude

Bogotá sits at 2,600 meters (8,530 feet) above sea level. You may experience mild headache, dizziness or lightheadedness, fatigue, or shortness of breath as your body adjusts. To help with adjustment, drink plenty of water, take it easy on your first day, and rest if needed.

What is the conference dress code?

The dress code for the Accelerate Conference is business casual and professional. We encourage comfortable, professional attire suitable for a full day of sessions, networking, and discussions. This may include business suits, traditional professional dress, or smart casual attire appropriate for a professional setting in your culture.
