About the Challenge

The Activate AI: Economic Opportunity Challenge invites applications from innovative organizations working on collaborative and community-oriented data and AI solutions that drive social impact. In particular, we’re seeking out projects that drive AI workforce development and organizational capacity, open pathways to create sustainable jobs, and build climate resilient communities for a green economy.

Zoom Cares today announced a $10 million, three-year commitment to expand access to AI education and opportunity. The funding, which was unveiled during Zoomtopia 2025, will be distributed through a combination of large anchor grants to national and global leaders in AI for impact, as well as regional and community-based grants supporting on-the-ground changemakers.
