Perry Hewitt, Chief Marketing and Product Officer, joined data.org in 2020 with experience in both the for-profit and nonprofit worlds. She oversees the marketing and communications functions, as well as digital product development for the growing global platform.
Working at the intersection of marketing and digital strategy, Perry is passionate about leading high-performing teams to drive sustainable change and impact. She has held marketing, digital product, and strategy roles at Bloomberg Philanthropies, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Ithaka/JStor. Previously, she served as Harvard University’s chief digital officer.
Perry currently holds a number of leadership positions advancing marketing, technology, and entrepreneurship. She is a Connect Council member at Glasswing AI Venture Capital, a Stimson Center Loomis Innovation Council member, and a board member at Solar Sister. She advises startups and cultural institutions; she also writes and speaks on topics including digital transformation, product management, marketing strategy, and women in leadership.
Perry has lived and worked in Switzerland, England, Russia, and Australia, and now lives in Chapel Hill, North Carolina with her family.
