Shivam Shukla is the Coordinator for Programs and Capacity Building at data.org. He partners with the Director of Capacity Building to strategize and implement initiatives aimed at cultivating 1 million purpose-driven Data for Social Impact (DSI) professionals by 2032 globally. To this end, he leads the deployment of data capacity accelerators and digital learning initiatives, targeted towards learners from low and middle-income contexts, including in India and sub-Saharan Africa.
Additionally, Shivam supports the Chief Data and Technology Officer in managing data.org’s initiatives and plays a key role in developing and operationalizing a robust monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning framework.
With a strong background in enhancing institutional capacities through data, technology, and behavior change, Shivam has worked with various stakeholders, including central and state government bodies in India. He also mentors young social impact aspirants through his initiative, Impact Connect.
Shivam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Delhi University and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Liberal Studies from the Young India Fellowship at Ashoka University.
