Emma Donelan is the Director of Marketing and Communications at data.org, leading strategies that engage stakeholders—across philanthropy, social impact leaders, the private sector, and academia—to meet the organization’s mission.

Stephanie Earl is the Senior Finance and Contracts Manager at data.org. She brings over a decade of experience in nonprofit management and accounting with a special interest in implementing responsive financial management and planning systems.

Gigi Ghanim is the Chief of Staff at data.org where she oversees systems, planning, reporting and financial management for the organization.

As Vice President of Strategy and Partnerships, Lindsey Gottschalk works at the intersection of strategy and operations to strengthen the collaboration among partners and scope and implement new initiatives.

Hugo Gruson is the Lead Software Architect for data.org. His role is to provide technical support and infrastructure for project partners and ensure that project outputs match the gold standard in software development.

Chris Hartgerink is the Software Engineer for data.org. They are a generalist: part researcher, part statistician, part software programmer, part businessperson.

Perry Hewitt is the Chief Marketing and Product Officer of data.org where she oversees the marketing and communications functions, as well as digital product development.

Priyank Hirani is the Director of Capacity Building at data.org, where he strategizes and implements initiatives to democratize data skills and enable social impact organizations to be data-driven

Joanne Jan is the Manager, Partnerships and Product at data.org. In this role, she collaborates with key stakeholders to strengthen social impact organizations’ capacity to use data.

Dr. Paul K. Korir is a distinguished professional with a Ph.D. in Computational Biology from the University of Galway, Ireland, and extensive experience in data science, bioinformatics, and software development. As the current Director of Data Science at data.org, he leads innovative projects in data science. 

Avinash Laddha is the Senior Data Analyst at data.org, supporting the various initiatives and product team in deriving value and insights from data.

David Mascarina is the Senior Manager of Creative and Brand Experience for data.org where he is responsible for developing and stewarding creative design and brand strategy for the data.org platform, and bringing innovative ideas for envisioning, creating, and managing the development of content.

Danil Mikhailov, Ph.D. is the Executive Director of data.org. He has over 20 years of experience setting up multiple start-ups and leading work across a range of diverse sectors, always investigating and innovating in the space where technology, culture, and society converge.

Maguette Ndong is the Technical Program Manager at data.org. Maguette is a software engineer with nine years in IT and management in different areas such as energy, tourism, human resources, social justice, and global health.

Shivam Shukla is the Coordinator for Programs and Capacity Building at data.org. He partners with the Director of Capacity Building to strategize and implement initiatives aimed at cultivating 1 million purpose-driven Data for Social Impact (DSI) professionals by 2032 globally.

As Chief Data and Technology Officer, Uyi Stewart oversees all of data.org’s programmatic initiatives which today include the Generative AI Skills Challenge, Inclusive Growth and Recovery Challenge, the Capacity Accelerator Network, and Epiverse.

Jaklyn Van Manen is the Director of Development at data.org where she establishes, coordinates, and drives strategies designed to develop current and prospective donors and funders and secure the necessary resources to support the organization.

Shubhi Vijay is the Product Content Specialist for data.org where she is responsible for supporting the feature, metadata, and content development for the digital platform.

Cormekki Whitley is the Chief Operating Officer at data.org. As a member of the Executive team, Cormekki provides high-level fiscal oversight, oversees contract administration, and streamlines both in-house personnel and resource systems.

Philip Sami Onsy AbdelMalik is an epidemiologist and public health informatician, passionate about creative and cross-disciplinary ways to enhance public health practice and capacity.

Francesca Dominici, Ph.D. is the Faculty Director of the Harvard Data Science Initiative and the Clarence James Gamble Professor of Biostatistics, Population, and Data Science at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She is an elected member of the National Academy of Medicine and of the International Society of Mathematical Statistics.

Chapin Flynn is a Senior Vice President in Mastercard Enterprise Partnerships. In that role, he is responsible for building enterprise-level partnerships that deliver growth with new revenue streams and reduce costs by driving operational efficiencies.

Chonnettia Jones brings more than two decades of experience in science and health research, strategy and policy in the US, UK/Europe and Canada.

Rebecca Kahn, Ph.D., MS, is a Health Scientist and Analytic Products Lead with the CDC.

Celina is the CEO and co-founder of Zindi. Zindi is the leading platform for data practitioners in Africa.

Samuel V. Scarpino, Ph.D. is the Vice President of Pathogen Surveillance at The Rockefeller Foundation and a member of their Pandemic Prevention Institute.

Dr. Jorge Soberón is a Professor at the Department of Ecology & Evolutionary Biology at the University of Kansas.

Kaitlin Thaney is the Executive Director of Invest in Open Infrastructure, a nonprofit initiative designed to enable durable, scalable, and long-lasting open scientific and scholarly infrastructure to emerge, thrive, and deliver its benefits on a global scale.
