Patricia V. Tapia is an accomplished researcher, strategist, and global innovator in AI ethics, disruptive technologies, and sustainable development. She is the Founder and Director of the European-Peruvian Council, a research and consultancy think tank fostering collaboration between Europe and Latin America on ethical and sustainable innovation. Additionally, she serves as the EU Representative of AJE Peru and an Ambassador of the Young Entrepreneurs wing of the Iberoamerican Federation (FIJE), driving initiatives that promote ethical leadership and business innovation across continents.
Tapia holds a Master’s degree in Philosophy of Science from Leibniz University in Hannover. She also earned a double Research Master’s degree (MIB LIC.) in International Business Management through a joint scholarship program offered by Furtwangen University in Freiburg, Germany, and San Martín de Porres University in Lima, Peru. Her academic background is complemented by a Bachelor’s Licentiate in International Business Administration.
Her expertise lies in the ethics of AI, particularly in smart city innovations. Tapia has co-authored several academic publications addressing sustainability and urban applications of emerging technologies. She has delivered lectures at international conferences, focusing on the nexus between business innovation, gender, and artificial intelligence.
