Yash Rawal is a Consultant – Data and Product at SEEDs, where he focuses on building data mechanisms and developing product and AI-driven features, digital assets to drive digital transformation to support disaster risk reduction and humanitarian response. He brings over five years of experience across consulting, governance, think tanks, and non-profit organizations, working at the intersection of data, strategy, policy, and impact-driven product development.
to his current role, Yash was an IDCA CAN Fellow, working with SEEDs as the host organization on the development of Aksvi – the National Loss Platform, an e-wallet–based, self-reporting system designed to enable efficient and faster compensation payments to victims of natural calamities and link seamlessly with other microservices. He has also worked with Global Trade Observer, I-PAC, and the Delhi Legislative Assembly Research Centre on data, strategy, and policy initiatives aimed at improving governance and service delivery mechanisms.
Yash holds an M.Sc. in Data Science from Symbiosis University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Data Science for Social Impact (Climate Change and Public Health) from IIIT-Delhi. He has interned with ANNAM.AI at IIT Ropar, contributing to AI4AgriTech initiatives.
