Director, Advanced Digital Services

Fundación Capital

Natalia is Director of the Advanced Digital Services Unit at Fundación Capital, where she leads digital strategy and the design, implementation, and scaling of digital and AI-enabled services for low-income populations.

Her work focuses particularly on women micro-entrepreneurs, migrants, refugees, and conflict-affected communities across Latin America and Africa.

With 13+ years across social, public, and private sectors, Natalia has managed multicultural teams and coordinated large, multi-country portfolios, delivering 35+ projects across Latin America and Africa. Her work blends human-centered design and agile delivery with data-driven iteration to build practical tools that meet people where they are, across low-connectivity contexts and multiple languages. She has spearheaded the development and adaptation of fintech and digital products that have reached over one million users in 14 countries, combining operational scale with a strong commitment to inclusion.

Natalia combines human-centered design, agile methodologies, and data-driven decision-making to build practical, inclusive digital solutions in low-connectivity and low-literacy contexts. She is also a mentor to early-stage innovators through organizations such as Village Capital and BFA Global, supporting the incubation of technology-based impact business models.

She holds a Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Development Studies from Universidad de los Andes and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Universidad del Rosario, Colombia, with additional training in development planning and financing.
