Varun Kashyap is Co-founder of Humble Bee, an Indian government–recognized climate-tech social enterprise building a scientific, AI-enabled beekeeping ecosystem to empower 1 million smallholder, marginal, and tribal farmers, especially women, by 2030. His work integrates biological infrastructure (pollination), digital traceability, and field-based entrepreneurship to strengthen climate resilient rural livelihoods across India. Since 2019, Varun has focused on building a mass-entrepreneurship movement anchored in an end-to-end value-chain based approach. At Humble Bee, he leads strategy, partnerships, and ecosystem development. Previously, Varun founded LetsEndorse (2015), a collaboration platform connecting grassroots innovators with corporates, governments, and citizens, and Suvidha Bazaar (2010), a farm-to-fork supply chain venture aimed at reducing inefficiencies and improving farmer market intelligence. Varun has consistently worked at the intersection of social impact, markets, and technology. Varun is an Alexander von Humboldt German Chancellor Fellow, Global Shaper (World Economic Forum), Pearson Fellow, Microsoft Youth Advisor, Rajeev Circle Fellow, and Al Gore Climate Fellow. He holds a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Punjab Engineering College and completed his post-graduation in leadership and liberal arts at Ashoka University.
