Overview
The Equitable AI Adoption (EAIA) initiative is built on the belief that AI can advance equity and impact, but only when adopted intentionally and sustainably. Supported by the Gates Foundation, it centers around a practical framework designed to help nonprofit leaders, funders, and educators move from curiosity to responsible action. The initiative brings that framework to life through a collection of real-world resources: case studies featuring organizations like Beyond 12, Chicago Public Schools, Quill.org, and Crisis Text Line; a podcast series featuring candid conversations with nonprofit practitioners; and webinars and virtual events. Together, these resources illustrate how organizations across different contexts are navigating AI adoption thoughtfully, surfacing practical lessons on governance, data infrastructure, equity, and sustainability that others can learn from and apply.
