IDENTI is building a voice-first financial access layer for smallholder farmers in rural, low-connectivity communities. The project enables assisted onboarding, reusable KYC, AI voice authentication, alternative credit scoring, and digital disbursement so farmers can access working capital, input financing, and incentives for climate-resilient production. Our AI models combine voice verification, cooperative delivery history, farm data, satellite-derived vegetation signals, and commodity-price context to estimate payment capacity and recommend responsible credit limits and terms. The system is designed for low-literacy users who may not own smartphones, using IVR, local agents, merchants, cooperatives, and offline-capable devices as trusted access points. Over 12 months, IDENTI will expand a pilot with real enrollments, verifications, disbursements, repayments, model monitoring, partner tooling, and an implementation playbook. The goal is to make rural finance lower-cost, safer, more inclusive, and scalable while strengthening farmer-controlled data and local green-economy roles.
