Bhanu heads the NBFC vertical at GyanDhan, where he leads the company’s direct lending business focused on education and skilling finance for underserved borrowers. He is currently building GyanDhan’s Global Mobility vertical—financing Indian workers pursuing international employment in corridors such as Germany and Japan—by mobilising the entire ecosystem, from sending organizations and skilling bodies to government agencies and credit guarantee institutions, around innovative financing models for a segment that formal credit systems have historically overlooked.
Bhanu began his journey at GyanDhan in the Founder’s Office, working across strategy and new initiatives before taking on leadership of the NBFC business. Before GyanDhan, he worked in the Ad-Tech SaaS sector at Jivox, serving global enterprise clients.
He holds an MBA from the Indian School of Business (ISB), is a CFA Level II candidate, and completed his undergraduate degree in Business Economics from the University of Delhi.
Outside of work, Bhanu is an enthusiastic baker, an avid cricket fan, and a PADI-certified scuba diver.
