Siddharth Raghuwanshi is Manager, Product and Partnerships – Catalytic Finance at Samhita-CGF. His work focuses on expanding access to appropriate financial services for underserved individuals and microenterprises by bringing together financial institutions, funders, technology partners, and implementation organisations.
At Samhita-CGF, he contributes to the design and deployment of catalytic finance instruments that address barriers preventing underserved borrowers from accessing formal credit. Through instruments such as credit guarantees and other risk-sharing mechanisms, this work has enabled over 6,000 participants to access more than ₹25 crore in finance.
Siddharth currently supports the design and validation of the Pre-Credit Score, an alternative-data-based creditworthiness assessment framework for new-to-credit borrowers with limited formal financial histories. The framework explores how socio-economic alternative data can help lenders assess such borrowers more effectively and complement conventional underwriting approaches.
Before joining Samhita-CGF, Siddharth worked as a Credit Officer at Punjab National Bank, where he gained experience in credit appraisal, underwriting, portfolio management, and banking operations. His banking experience informs his current work at the intersection of traditional lending, alternative credit assessment, and financial inclusion.
He holds a Master’s degree in Social Entrepreneurship from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai.
