Akanksha Rath is a communications leader, educator, and programme strategist with experience spanning academia, business, and the nonprofit sector. She leads Capacity Building initiatives at the Global Finance and Technology Network (GFTN), overseeing fintech innovation and talent development programmes that connect emerging talent, entrepreneurs, industry leaders, regulators, and academic partners to develop practical solutions.
Akanksha also teaches at Singapore Management University (SMU), having previously taught at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and the National University of Singapore (NUS). She has extensive experience designing and managing complex programmes, building cross-sector partnerships, and facilitating collaboration across diverse stakeholders. She holds a Master’s in Tri-Sector Collaboration and is passionate about persuasion, storytelling, and corporate communications. Her teaching has been recognised through the SMU Dean’s Teaching Honours List.
