Akhilesh Magal is the founder and director of Climate Dot Foundation, a not-for-profit dedicated to furthering evidence based research in the climate and energy space in India. He has previously worked for the National Renewable Laboratory (NREL) in Denver, Colorado, where he led various bilateral energy engagements between the United States and other developing nations. He also worked for GERMI, a Gujarat State Government promoted research organization, where he founded and led the policy advisory team. He is an environmental engineer by training, but an environmentalist at heart.
