Baksheesh Sachar is a young professional working with the Department of Finance, Planning & Investment, Government of Arunachal Pradesh. Previously he has worked with various organisations on WASH & Climate projects, starting his career as a consultant to a District Collector in Bihar to expedite progress for Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM). He has previously served with UNICEF’s WASH team, Ministry of Jal Shakti, UNDP, World Resources Institute (WRI), Centre for Science & Environment, IIT Bombay and International Innovation corps (University of Chicago Trust). He has also been a Climate Corps fellow as part of Ashoka Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) program where he completed his project with Zomato’s sustainability team. He has studied Master’s in Public Policy (MPP) from IIT Bombay. He loves to romanticize with the art of digital storytelling and has made several short films.
