Dègninou Yehadji is a Data Scientist and Epidemiologist with over 15 years of experience in public health, health information systems, monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning across West and Central Africa. His interdisciplinary background —holding a Master of Public Health from the Georgia State University, a Master of Science in Computing in Applied Data Science & Analytics from the Technological University Dublin, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of the People, has equipped him to design and implement data-driven solutions in diverse and complex settings.

Yehadji has worked with the Ministry of Health of Togo and major international organizations, including John Snow, Inc. (JSI), Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), and International Medical Corps. He has led initiatives in epidemiological surveillance, monitoring and evaluation, digital health innovations, and operational research. His work has spanned health systems strengthening, infectious disease outbreak response, development and implementation of M&E systems, HIV research, and digital tools for maternal and child health. Notably, he played a key role in the national implementation of the DHIS-2 platform in Togo.

Through his involvement in global health, Yehadji is committed to advancing equitable health solutions via open science and cross-sector collaboration. He brings a deep understanding of the complexities of national and global health data ecosystems and a strong belief in inclusive co-creation, aligning with Epiverse’s mission to build a trustworthy, open-source infrastructure for epidemic preparedness.
