Dr. Vivek Jason Jayaraj is a Public Health Physician with the Ministry of Health Malaysia, currently serving as Deputy Director (Analytics & Informatics) in the Digital Health Division. His work focuses on strengthening public health intelligence through digital health data strategy, analytics, interoperability, and precision public health. His portfolio sits at the intersection of epidemiology, data science and health systems. He has contributed to work on COVID-19, dengue, HFMD, vaccine effectiveness, non-communicable disease risk profiling, colorectal cancer screening optimisation, human resource optimisation, automated reporting and AI-enabled health analytics. He is also active in capacity building, regularly teaching and training across local and international platforms in epidemiology, R, biostatistics, research methodology, digital health, causal inference, disease modelling and public health intelligence.
