Fernando holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from Javeriana University in Bogotá, an MBA from INALDE Business School and a master’s degree in Theology from Universidad de la Sabana in Colombia. He is currently working as Partner Enablement Manager for Cisco in Latin America and leads the Americas Regional Solutions Grants committee within Cisco, collaborating closely with the Cisco Foundation and Splunk.
Previously, he managed the Partner Business Development unit focused on Cloud Infrastructure and Software solutions across Latin America and held regional roles in Central America, the Caribbean, the Andean region, and the Southern Cone. He also served as Systems Engineer Manager for Colombia.
With over 25 years at Cisco, Fernando holds key industry certifications, including CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) from ISC2, and CCSK (Certified Cloud Security Knowledge) from the Cloud Security Alliance.
Fernando is a proud father of Samuel, Nicolás, and María José and has been married to Paula for more than 21 years.
