Fortune Adekogbe is a Python developer who has spent the last three years focusing on machine learning engineering, specifically natural language processing and computer vision. He is also a technical author, having written data-related documentation for several clients over the last two years. 
 
Fortune graduated at the top of his class from the Chemical Engineering program at the University of Lagos, Nigeria. He is generally interested in innovation but intends to concentrate his research efforts on the intersection of AI, energy, and control systems. Fortune has led teams such as the Shell Eco-marathon Team UNILAG to international success. He was also the vice president of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers student chapter at the University of Lagos. He enjoys sharing knowledge and has served as a volunteer mentor, tutor, and instructor manager in several programs. 
 
He is currently a lead data scientist at the University of Lagos’ NITDA Hub, where he conducts machine learning research and development. He also works as a technical author for Draft.dev and serves as a director of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers’ Virtual Local Section.
