Gaurav Godhwani is co-founder and executive director at CivicDataLab – a research lab focused to strengthen data for public good and enhance civic engagements in India & other Asian countries. He works to leverage the open-source movement to enable citizens to engage better in public reforms. He has been instrumental in starting data initiatives like – DataKind Bangalore, Open Budgets India, Justice Hub & Open Contracting India. Currently, he is focused to grow data and responsible AI led innovations in sectors like Climate Action, Digital Public Infrastructure & Goods, Public Finance, Public Procurement, Law & Justice, Urban Planning and more.
