Krishna Mishra is a tech-driven social entrepreneur and innovator with over three decades of experience in transforming agriculture, finance, and rural development through digital solutions. As the Founder and Chairman of eKutir, he has pioneered data-driven, systemic adoption models for the agri-food sector, enabling sustainable and inclusive growth at the last mile.
A recipient of prestigious awards such as the MIT Inclusive Economy Award, Facebook Innovation Award, Grand Challenge Award by BMGF, GSMA recognition, and UN Innovator Recognition, Krishna has contributed to over ten research collaborations with leading institutions, including McGill University and Johns Hopkins University. His work spans digital agriculture, health, climate resilience, and financial inclusion, with a focus on leveraging AI and technology for impact.
Currently, he leads R&D initiatives at eKutir and serves as an advisor to ALLIN Tech UK, FLO UK, and METSA, a food-tech innovation platform in India. As an Ashoka Fellow, he is globally recognized for his inclusive business models and systemic approach to agri-food transformation.
Krishna holds a degree from Delhi University and is certified in “Innovative Organizational Models of Farmers, Corporate Leadership, and Sustainable Next-Generation Cooperatives” from the Graduate Institute of Cooperative Leadership (GICA), University of Missouri, Columbia, USA. His work continues to shape the future of agriculture, finance, and climate resilience on a global scale.
