Santosh Harish, Ph.D., is Senior Program Officer at Coefficient Giving, where he leads the Air Quality Fund, focusing on particulate air pollution and lead exposure. Previously, he led Open Philanthropy’s grantmaking in South Asian Air Quality and was a Fellow at the Centre for Policy Research in New Delhi, working with the Initiative for Climate, Energy and Environment. Before that, he served as associate director of research at the India center of the Energy Policy Institute at the University of Chicago and completed post-doctoral fellowships with J-PAL South Asia and Evidence for Policy Design. He holds a B.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras and a Ph.D. in Engineering and Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University.
