Shubhi Vijay is the Product Content Specialist for data.org where she is responsible for supporting the feature, metadata, and content development for the digital platform. Shubhi is a former journalist with a decade of experience in strategic communications and program implementation with a demonstrated history of crafting compelling narratives. She has spent the majority of her career in the international development sector with the Aga Khan Foundation, Laudes Foundation, and most recently with The Rockefeller Foundation leading on matters of communications, policy, and advocacy. She brings training in user-centered design research to deliver products and services to understand mobile reading behaviors, ICT-enabled training modules for farmers, and labor migration patterns. Shubhi is passionate about women’s empowerment, early childhood interventions, and tackling the climate crisis. She is an alumnus of the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, Asian College of Journalism, and Lady Shri Ram College for Women, University of Delhi. In her spare time, she can be found reading and trying different cuisines.
