Overview
Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine learning (ML) have the transformative potential to solve some of the toughest global challenges our society faces, including refugee crises, poverty, and infectious disease outbreaks. As AI grows in reach, complexity, and ubiquity, those working in the nonprofit sector have a responsibility to the people and communities they support to understand the benefits and risks of the technology. This session will provide an introduction to AI and ML, an introduction to AI ethics, approaches for putting AI and ML into practice in nonprofit programs and projects, and an examination of use cases and lessons learned.
