In A Nutshell
Play a key role in supporting and facilitating the adoption of several Epiverse’s open source R packages in his/her respective country.
Responsibilities
Capacity Building
- Attend and support the training program on the use of the selected tools, within the country.
Technical Support
- Coordinate with the country lead and peers, and support the on-site Epiverse roll-out.
- Assist end-users on technical issues or challenges on the use of the tools.
Community Engagement
- Support a Community of Practice (CoP) among users of the tools to share best practices, challenges, and solutions, with other fellows and the WHO Collaboratory platform, in general.
- Facilitate webinars, and forums for the community of practice to ensure continuous learning and improvement.
- Encourage knowledge sharing and collaboration among local partners and officials to promote the Epiverse suite of tools’ long-term sustainability.
Skillset
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, statistics, data science or any related fields.
- Experience in reporting bugs through platforms like GitHub for optimal communication efficiency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in official language of home country with some proficiency in English, French.
