Responsible for the maintenance and management of Raiser’s Edge (RE) and acts as the first point of contact for donor data quality and reporting.
Responsibilities
Data Request Fulfillment & Project Management
- Primary responder to all query, exports and import requests from the Philanthropy team to support reporting needs, mailing lists, and email-lists.
- Act as subject matter expert for RE and RENXT internal reporting capabilities, staying up to date on new tools and identifying potential improvements.
- Proactively identifies areas within all donor data streams which increase data hygiene, generate additional capacity, and/or bring clarity on donor data to the Philanthropy team.
Data Integrity
- Ensures data integrity by maintaining data correctness, routinely checking for errors and duplications, and maintaining other data and record-keeping standards.
- Manage and complete necessary data uploads and import all global changes from a variety of Philanthropy sources, including proposals, actions, and any other necessary constituent data changes, ensuring consistent use of key fields.
- Work with Development staff to eliminate errors, change processes that cause errors, promote data hygiene recommendations, and identifies and executes necessary data cleanup efforts.
- Support the gift processing team by completing gift scans, assisting with data entry, and completing other related tasks during times of significant gift quantities.
Skillset
- B.A. or B.S. or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience working with fundraising in non-profits and fundraising databases.
- Advanced proficiency in Raiser’s Edge Export Module, Queries, Reports.
- Proficient in Luminate Online and ImportOmatic.
- Demonstrated ability to build segmented lists for mailings, solicitations, invitations and donor communication.
- Strong Excel skills for data cleanup, lookups, and formatting.
- Experience with writing user documentation.
