Undergraduate Student in Pure Mathematics

Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Javeriana)

Héctor Quiroga is an undergraduate student in Pure Mathematics at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. His academic interests include data analysis, statistics, and artificial intelligence, particularly when these fields can be applied to address real-world problems and generate positive social impact. He is currently involved in the project “Deep Learning Model for the Democratization of Knowledge of Real Estate Values in Bogotá,” which focuses on the use of machine learning tools to improve access to information on the real estate market.

Throughout his academic journey, he has worked to strengthen his knowledge of programming, predictive modeling, and mathematical analysis, combining logical reasoning with technological tools. He is also interested in fields such as actuarial science and economics, where mathematics plays a direct role in decision-making and data analysis.

Héctor enjoys continuous learning and participating in projects that allow him to develop new skills, collaborate with others, and take on academic and technological challenges. His goal is to continue growing professionally while applying mathematics in contexts that can provide practical and accessible solutions for a wider range of people.
