Natasha is the Impact Hub Director at Solar Sister, working with a small team to provide organization-wide support and expertise on technology, compliance, training, monitoring & evaluation, and more. A data quality and data management expert, Natasha specializes in improving data processes and data use within international development. She has worked with programmatic, monitoring & evaluation, and research data spanning labor rights, democracy & governance, and electoral organizing, among others. She leads AI initiatives at Solar Sister focusing particularly on how to bring AI to those least likely to access it and to use it for the benefit of themselves and their communities. Previous to Solar Sister, she was the Senior Database Analyst at the National Democratic Institute, where she led the implementation of a new organization-wide data management system. Natasha also served the US Department of Defense as a Rosenthal Fellow, focusing on improving data collection and analysis processes for the Women, Peace, and Security Initiative. She has additional experience in coalition-building, training & facilitation, change management, community organizing, and US-government policy. Natasha holds a Master’s from American University in Global Governance, Politics, and Security and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Brigham Young University.
