Responsible for leading and driving the successful execution of a transformative program aimed at modernizing OED’s data services delivery capabilities.

Responsibilities

Program leadership

  • Regularly and systematically conduct maturity assessments with all agencies to understand their data program requirements, challenges, and priorities.
  • Make recommendations for new services, modifications to existing services, or discontinuation of services based on analysis of maturity assessment results.
  • Design and implement a modernized intake and onboarding process that delivers clarity and streamlines the adoption of OED managed data services.

Drive agency adoption and success

  • Build and foster agency partnerships through management of the customer lifecycle, including design, implementation, and maintenance of onboarding, engagement, and retention initiatives.
  • Track agency adoption rates and design and measure the impact of the managed data services on agency performance and statewide cost savings.
  • Coordinate connecting training and support to end-users on adopted, managed data services.

Continuously improve data delivery services

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of all adopted managed data services, identify, plan and implement improvements, including recommendations to phase in and out services.
  • Gather feedback from agencies to refine data delivery services and address emerging needs.
  • Maintain currentness of managed data service agreements and supporting documentation.
  • Lead change management to systematically implement new services or modifications to existing services.

Skillset

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other information technology related field. Masters preferred.
  • Three years of experience designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining programs directly related to the required area of expertise.
