Lead Future of Life Institute’s research and enforcement efforts related to general-purpose AI under EU laws.
Responsibilities
- Lead FLI’s efforts to support EU enforcement related to general-purpose AI, especially through legal research and analysis of key issues in AI policy.
- Support the capacity of the EU AI Office in Brussels and EU capitals, elevating and translating AI Office output for a non-Brussels audience.
- Coordinate resource sharing and lead relationship-building with other civil society organisations.
Skillset
- 2 – 10+ Years relevant experience.
- Fluency in English, both written and oral.
- Eligibility to work in the EU, either based in Brussels (strong preference) or able to travel to Brussels regularly.
- Experience in EU politics/policy or understanding of how policies are passed in the EU institutions and Member State governments.
- Master’s degree or above in Law or related disciplines.
