Link Health
Link Health is an initiative of A Healthier Democracy, a nonprofit organization dedicated to being a home for organizing at the intersection of health and civic engagement. Link Health focuses on bridging the gap between healthcare and economic support for low-income communities. Founded in response to the growing need for accessible federal assistance, our mission is to empower marginalized populations by simplifying their access to essential benefits. We leverage cutting-edge technology, particularly artificial intelligence, to streamline enrollment processes for programs such as Lifeline, SNAP, WIC, LIHEAP, etc. Our approach blends technology with a human touch, using certified patient navigators to guide individuals through the enrollment process in waiting rooms, clinics, and hospitals. This model reduces administrative burden for healthcare staff, while offering a more personalized, impactful experience for patients.
By collaborating with healthcare institutions, we ensure that our services are delivered in a familiar setting, fostering trust and encouraging participation in federal programs. Our team consists of experts in public health, physicians, technology experts, and community engagement working to refine our initiative based on real-world feedback. Currently operating in Boston and Houston, Link Health is committed to scalability and sustainability, aiming to expand our impact across the United States. Through our innovative approach, we strive not only to enhance benefit enrollment but also to contribute to long-term economic empowerment and inclusion for vulnerable populations.
