Amanda Mukengeshayi is Director of the College of AI, Cyber and Computing at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). She joined UTSA in November 2021 as Manager of Strategic Initiatives in the School of Data Science, where she was responsible for strategy development and implementation of key academic initiatives and became increasingly involved in large industry, government, and academia grant and program development. Previously, she was a performance analyst at United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County, where she worked alongside 30 local nonprofits to help them collect, analyze, and use data for informed decision-making and continuous improvement. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and International Management and a Master’s in Public Administration, both from UTSA.
