Jackie Mwaniki is the founder of RAIA Africa. This Nairobi-based civic tech firm uses artificial intelligence (AI) to transform complex government data into accessible, interactive tools for citizens and decision-makers. For over a decade, she has advocated for the use of geo-analytics across public, private, and development sectors, with a focus on spatial data as the empirical foundation for economic growth and sustainable impact. She previously served as Energy Sector Lead at Fraym and has worked with geospatial industry leaders including Esri Eastern Africa, Ramani Geosystems, and Map International across Eastern Africa and the broader Africa region. Jackie holds a BSc in geospatial engineering and an MSc in GIS and remote sensing.
