Jaklyn Van Manen is the Director of Development at data.org where she establishes, coordinates, and drives strategies designed to develop current and prospective donors and funders and secure the necessary resources to support the organization. As a seasoned nonprofit leader skilled in resourcing organizations to achieve their goals, Jaklyn is passionate about community-centric fundraising and developing relationships with funding partners. Before joining data.org, Jaklyn served as the Development Director of the National Young Farmers Coalition and Director, Engagement at the One Love Foundation. Jaklyn received her M.A. from NYU in Trauma and Violence Transdisciplinary Studies and her B.A. in Spanish from Castleton University. Jaklyn lives in the Hudson Valley, New York, where she enjoys volunteering on local farms and cooking for friends and family.
