Maguette Ndong is the Technical Program Manager at data.org. Maguette is a software engineer with almost a decade of experience in IT and management across sectors such as energy, tourism, human resources, social justice, and global health.

Early in her career in the private sector, she worked as a web developer on a digital health project facilitating health workers’ processes and delivering a dashboard for the M&E for the Senegal Ministry of Health. She then joined PATH’s Digital Health initiative “Digital Square” as a Technical Advisor/Technical Program Manager to help key digital health actors (funders, innovators/implementers, and governments (Ministries of Health) understand the digital health ecosystem and to help strengthen low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) national health systems.

During her time at Digital Square, she managed several investments in global goods like DHIS2, openIMIS, Bahmni, REVEAL, etc., and the promotion of global standards like HL7/FHIR to support interoperability between those global tools and collaboration between implementers.

Maguette wants to see the positive impact that her work has on people’s lives and in achieving the UN SDGs for a better world.
