Miller Díaz Valderrama is part of the sociotechnical characterization team for the Epiverse TRACE-LAC project at the Universidad de los Andes (Uniandes). He is a Colombian sociologist with a master’s degree in the field of Science and Technology Studies (STS). Miller has been focused on understanding the social dimensions of the production and use of technologies in state organizations, particularly in the LAC region. He is interested in bringing the interdisciplinary fields of STS and data science closer together to reflect on the role and impact of data and digital goods in facing the urgent problems of our time. He is committed to the task of exploring more generous and responsible ways of doing technological innovation at the interface of local and global relations.
