Rob Segan is a data for development specialist with more than 20 years of experience in international development, global health, and education. He is passionate about using data and technology to improve health outcomes and increase economic opportunities. He is Co-Founder and Head of Technical Direction at Data Elevates, with expertise in capacity-strengthening training, and digital for development. His focus is on using data and technology to increase the impact in social good programs. He has experience conducting data use workshops and trainings in Asia, the Americas, Africa, and Europe. His previous work includes serving as Lead Trainer for the USAID Data Science Bootcamp for Employability program, as Deputy Director of Global Health and Data Use at QED, and as a Senior Technical Advisor in Data, Informatics, and Analytical Solutions. He has an MBA in Health Sector Management and an MPH in Global Health from Boston University.
