Sarah Yates is Vice President for Technology and Integrated Experiences at W.K. Kellogg Foundation. She brings more than 25 years of experience as a business and technology change agent across the private, nonprofit, and philanthropic sectors. She previously served as Chief Information Officer (CIO) and VP of Business and Technology Solutions at Save the Children, overseeing technology strategy, IT operations, and solutions impacting more than 100 million children per year across more than 100 countries. Prior to Save the Children, she was CIO at Year Up, where she was recognized as InspireCIO of the Year for human-centered design and data-driven outcomes. Earlier in her career, she led the digitization of the Girl Scout Cookie Program for 2.1 million girls and adults—a launch that earned Fast Company’s Top 10 Most Innovative Nonprofits recognition—and began her career at IBM, where she built the company’s first e-commerce website and helped launch its first diversity councils and employee affinity groups. She has been honored with a U.S. Congressional Award for her work with underserved youth.
