Lead the planning, design, implementation, and evaluation of research strategies focused on improving maternal and infant health.

Responsibilities

  • Data Evaluation and Analysis
    • Develop and implement data evaluation frameworks and methodologies to assess MCH programs and impact.
    • Analyze, plan and coordinate quantitative and qualitative data to measure program outcomes and impact.
    • Use advanced statistical techniques to interpret data and generate actional insights.
  • Data Management
    • Oversee the collection, storage, and management of large datasets, ensuring data quality and integrity.
    • Develop and maintain robust data systems and databases, including data cleaning, validation, and documentation processes.
    • Implement data governance standards to ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory requirements.
  • Reporting and Dissemination
    • Prepare detailed evaluation reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Communicate findings to program teams, leadership, and community partners clearly and actionable.
    • Collaborate with communications team to disseminate evaluation results through publications, webinars, and conferences.
  • Program Improvement
    • Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of MCH programs.
    • Work across teams to integrate evaluation findings into program design and implementation.
    • Monitor and track the implementation of recommendations and their impact on program outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Engage with community organizations, healthcare providers, and policymakers to align evaluation efforts with community needs and priorities.
    • Participate in collaborative projects and data-sharing initiatives with external partners.
    • Represent the organization at meetings, conferences, and workshops focused on data evaluation and MCH.

Skillset

  • Master’s degree in Public Health, Statistics, Epidemiology, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, with a focus on public health programs.
  • Demonstrated experience in quantitative data analysis and the use of statistical software (e.g., SAS, R, Power BI).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare detailed reports and present findings to diverse audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders, including government agencies, donors, and community partners.
