Play a critical role in supporting both the Private Philanthropy and Integrated Partnerships (PPH) teams and ensure standardized use of Salesforce across teams, maintain data accuracy, and provide necessary reporting to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that Private Philanthropy and Integrated Partnerships teams are using Salesforce in a standardized way.
  • Oversee the correct input and tracking of data into Salesforce CRM by both teams, maintaining data integrity and accuracy.
  • Develop and implement best practices for data management and usage across teams.
  • Provide training and support to PPH staff on data management best practices and the use of Salesforce CRM.
  • Serves as the liaison with the Business Systems Team for PPH.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards in Salesforce CRM to support fundraising efforts.
  • Provide regular and ad-hoc reporting to the Senior Directors of Private Philanthropy and Integrated Partnerships teams.
  • Analyze donor data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Pipeline Development to generate insights that inform strategic decision-making.
  • Manage the assignment of new major donors and major donor prospects to Major Gift Officers.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance of assigned portfolios, ensuring optimal distribution of prospects and donors.
  • Regularly review and adjust portfolios to maximize fundraising potential and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Major Gift Officers to develop personalized engagement plans for major donors.
  • Track and report on the progress of donor cultivation and solicitation activities.
  • Provide support to Integrated Partnerships on portfolio management as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skillset

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in data management and reporting, preferably in a nonprofit fundraising environment. Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • In lieu of education/degree requirements a successful candidate will:
    • Have a portfolio of research work representing research that led to valuable insights or experiences, including research goals, methodologies, the process followed, your role, data visualizations, and articulated insights.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and roles.
  • Proactive mindset and willingness to take risks and learn from setbacks.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and adaptability.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM, preferably in non-profit environment (NPSP).
  • Experience in generating reports and dashboards for senior leadership.

  • Understanding of major gift fundraising processes and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Sound judgment and emotional intelligence when interacting with colleagues, peers, and vendors.
