Shanna leads the Center’s mission to build the field of impact data science, engaging data scientists, academia, nonprofits and other relevant organizations to accelerate progress.

Dr. Symone Campbell, a native of Syracuse, New York, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Buffalo State University, a Master of Arts degree in Africana Studies from the University at Albany, and a Ph.D. in Communication, Culture, and Media Studies from The Howard University.

The Director of Development will be responsible for establishing, coordinating, and driving the implementation of strategies designed to develop current and prospective donors and funders and secure the necessary resources to support data.org’s business interests. The Director of Development, in collaboration with key leaders across the organization, will structure and execute a strategic fundraising plan that aligns fundraising activities with core organizational needs.

Dr. Amanda R. Kube Jotte is a Preceptor in Data Science at The University of Chicago, and through the US Capacity Accelerator Network, she is on a mission to make data science education more accessible to students.

As one of nine awardees in data.org’s Inclusive Growth and Recovery Challenge, BUILD at Aalborg University created a tool with interactive maps and graphs that illustrate economic inequality and can inform urban planning.
