Bruno Sánchez-Andrade Nuño is Co-Founder and Chief Scientist of LGND AI and co-founder of Clay, focused on building artificial intelligence (AI) at planetary scale. He brings two decades of experience turning frontier science into products at organizations including Microsoft, where he led the creation of the Planetary Computer; the World Bank Innovation Labs, where he drove Big Data innovation; Satellogic, where he served as vice president of social impact; and Mapbox, where he served as chief scientist. Bruno is the author of Impact Science, on the role of science and research in social and environmental impact. He holds a PhD in astrophysics and is a Mirzayan Science Policy Fellow of the US National Academies of Sciences and a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum.
