Dr. Charles Umeh is the Executive Director at Parkers Mobile Clinic, an organization that aims to increase access to care through telemedicine, paired with a network of community health workers in Nigeria.
Dr. Umeh is a public health physician and telemedicine expert with 7 years of experience. As a telemedicine expert, he co-authored the “Fundamentals of Telemedicine and Telehealth” textbook published by Elsevier in 2020.
He is a member of the International Medical Informatics Association and the Healthcare Informatics Society of Nigeria.
For his work, he was awarded the Edinburgh University Postgraduate scholarship and Commonwealth Youth Council COVID-19 grant.
