Role: CAN Fellow
Current organisation: Intellihealth
Graduated from: IIIT-Delhi
I am a public policy professional with five years of work experience in diverse sectors with an undergraduate degree in history from Delhi University and post graduate degree in public policy from National Law School of India University Bengaluru. I have been a Teach for India fellow in Hyderabad followed by managing my family business for its growth and expansion during two years of the Covid-19 pandemic. After earning my Master’s in Data Science in Health and Climate Change for Social Impact at IIIT-Delhi, I worked as a management consultant with KPMG in Government Advisory and Public Service WASH function before joining the IDCA Fellowship.
In the policy and strategy domain, where scale and precision defines impact, data science is the tool which can ensure evidence-based decision making. Health and climate change are two wicked problems intertwined to affect millions of people around the globe and I see myself as an active participant in building a career in solving these problems leveraging all the technological tools that can help me build skills in advocacy and modelling in these two sectors. My experience with the Data Science Course and IDCA Fellowship is a steep learning journey in research, data science, and decision making. The academic journey with the fellowship has been able to provide me with a platform to individually design and implement a project aiding in my professional growth in terms of leadership, accountability and communication skills and navigating complex challenges.
